-- Drushya is a Senior at Metea Valley, who is currently pursuing a good time in high school! Ever since 3rd grade, she has loved learning and making art. She carried that passion into middle school and had her work published in local libraries and art events.

-- Entering high school, she was commissioned to paint a mural at Grainger Middle School. Artwork from her Drawing 1, Painting 1, Ceramics 1 and 2, and Computer Graphics 1 classes earned her annual recognition at the Fine Arts Fest.

-- Soon, she joined the Honors Art Society and spent 3 years working on community projects and experimenting with new mediums. Connections from her summer art camps and school helped her publish her work at the Naperville Woman's Club Young Adult Art Show while earning an invitation to the Chicago Art Festival.

-- Outside of school, Drushya is a featured artist at the Obama Legacy Initiative and is responsible for painting garden beds to donate to the community. Going into college, she'd like to pursue business or architecture with a focus on sustainable design!
